* IMPORTANT NOTE: Pain is a warning signal from the body. It is important that medical care is attained before the use of hypnosis. The reason is, if our body is giving us a signal through pain that something is needing attention and if we were to use hypnosis to eliminate the pain, we may not address the problem and suffer more harm.
An example: say you had a terrible tooth ache and you utilized hypnosis to remove the tooth ache and went on with your life happy the pain was gone. Well, the cavity in the tooth didn't go away, only the signal, and the tooth is still in dire need of attention.

Why hypnosis works to relieve pain
- Hypnosis creates a deeply relaxing state of mind and body. This helps to alleviate the muscular tensions as well as the mental stress. 60-90% of all disease and injury is stress related.
- Our subconscious controls 100% of our central nervous system (CNS). Our CNS directly controls all aspects of our body functions. Pain signals included. Through hypnosis we can learn to regulate our CNS, in turn controlling our pain signals.
- Hypnosis allows us to move past our critical mind so that our subconscious and super-conscious mind can reveal to us deeper levels of information in the message of our pain. This knowledge allows us to consciously move towards a pain free life.
During your sessions you will learn to induce relaxation and access your CNS to "turn down" your pain signals. You will also be able to access the core messages in your pain so that you can address them at the deepest level.
